For those of you who stuff Kongs with peanut butter or other stuff...does it get all over everything as the doggie is licking it out? I'm thinking of putting one in the crate with my dog at night. He already likes to chew on his Kong in his crate, but I'd like to stuff it as a treat.

Nope, I don't have a problem with it getting on stuff. Or maybe it does and they just clean it up for me?

My only problem is it causes my dogs to fart. I had to abandon the kitchen altogether last night and considered calling the local hazmat team. Dogs don't tend to leave peanut butter laying around anywhere.

If you want, you can just stuff the Kong with dry kibble. Then seal the top with about a tablespoonful of peanut butter or plain yogurt. But no, my dogs don't tend to leave anything smeared anywhere.

Never had a problem with peanut butter - she cleans that up 100%. I have had issues with her bouncing stuffed kongs off the floor or down the stairs if she can't get the stuff out, which is why I'm careful about what I put in there. And I make sure she's laying down and finishes before I leave the room. I only had to step in mushy chicken & rice once to know I didn't want to try it again. But if the dog is in a crate and really likes the stuffing, shouldn't be a problem - he should clean it all up.

No, I've never had a problem with my dog getting it all over the place. I've also used it to keep her busy in her crate and have never even found a spot of pb on her bed in there.

The biggest problem we've ever had is excess slobber/drool. I usually put down an old bed sheet just in case, however.

If I accidentally get some on the outer edge of the Kong and it gets on the floor when I give Gir the Kong, it is quickly cleaned up by a very eager dog tongue

Nope, there's absolutely NOTHING left! lol Those Kongs are squeaky clean! I don't ever put peanut butter in them, though, so that may make a difference. I put everything from cottage cheese, liver, green beans, braunsweiger, sliced vienna sausages, and seal the holes with cream cheese, then freeze.
