About two months ago, I purchased a Halti for Kay, my 13 month old Dobie. Conditioned her to it, everything went well, no problems. The first time I took her out on it, she was great. The second time, I put her in the back of the car (wearing her halti) to go to dog class. As soon as I got her out, I could see she'd chewed both cheek pieces of the halti right through.

I replaced it yesterday, with a halti of a smaller size (fits better, surprisingly), and as I put it on her, she just started chewing it right there! The fact she did it with me right in front her of tells me she thinks it's OK to eat her head collar.

Aside from giving ehr a donk on the head (joking, don't worry!), how would I let her know it's not acceptable to eat her halti?
