Hi there. I found this forum a couple weeks ago when looking for info on my Rat Terrier's neck pain. I have had wonderful help so far! A little about me...

I have a 12 year old Rattie named Peanut and a 12 year old Lab/Rottie named Leo. Peanut has been healthy up until now, possibly having a slipped disc. Leo has had a couple bouts of cancer, Hemangiocytoma about 5 years ago in his front paw and Melanoma 3 years ago which reoccurred last June and was again removed. He's doing great now.

I also have 15 cats, yes 15! They are all indoor and rescued strays. I had 9 up until last April, then my best friend in Florida passed away and I took her 6 in. She also rescued cats, which I would care for while she was away. When she passed, her cats ended up at animal control with the threat of being euthanized. My wonderful hubby drove straight through from TN to FL to pick them up and now we are one huge happy family!

I am a full time Mommy and maid to all my pets, they run my life but I love it! Other then that I like to garden and enjoy the outdoors. I look forward to meeting more nice people on this board!

Welcome to the forum foofer. :) I used to have a Rottie myself that was called "foofer" as a nickname. I also hope that Peanut gets better soon. I know it no fun to live in pain. One of my rescue boys, Oliver, always has issues. He is lame often. He had some leg fractures and broken jaw when I got him. The poor boys has chronic issues because of it. :( Luckily he is the most lovable guy in the world and worth every bit of effort.
WOW! 15 Cats? You must be very busy scooping every day. lol My one cat keeps me very busy. She is worth it too though. God bless all of those who do rescue.
