Just added a puppie to a 1 and half year old

for 15 months we have a male pekingnese dog. 2 days ago we got another pekinese male who is 5 months old. The eldest dog seems a little annoyed with the puppy as it is much more energetic and chases the eldest dog around the appartment. he almost seems depressed.

does anybody have any suggestions on how to interact the two. i appreciate that these things take time and that the eldest dog seems that the puppy has taken over.

Take them for walks together, sometimes that can help them bond. And, make sure the adult dog has time alone, away from the pup. Make time to give him one on one time with you.
