So I am just sitting here reading DF posts, windows open to enjoy our rare sunny day when my cat Sarah jumps in the window with a "dead" bird. The little dogs started barking and chasing her with me right behind them. Finally Sarah drops the bird and hops back out the window. I quickley grab the bird with a paper towel before the dogs can get to it and as I am ready to toss it in the trash it comes to life and starts to fly around my living room !! I opened the front door to get it to fly out and in comes Lucifer to join the other cats and dogs in the chase ! Now I have 3 dogs and 2 cats and myself chasing this poor little bird. FINALLY I get it to fly out the door with 3 dogs hot on his tail. Now Sarah is sitting in the window giving me dirt looks for ruining her fun

Once again I shall say, life is never boring when you have pets !

Oh dear, I can picture it now! You chasing bird with all these pets trailing behind you trying to get it first. What a sight.
I had this happen once, My cat came in with a bird and dropped it. Low and behold it started flying around in the house! I was going to be late for school so I locked the cat out of the house for the day and rescued the bird when I got home lol.

Lol, i had a cat that had kittens and every night I would let her out for about an hour. One night I let her back in and she had a dead bird and took it to her kittens. Uh, I don't think so. I grabbed it as fast as I could and through it in the trash. I am glad hers was dead and not alive. I would have freaked.

This made me laugh. =D

One summer years ago, my cat brought a live field mouse into my grandma's house. We spent the rest of the night trying to catch it, but it was so fast and kept darting from under the tv stand to under chairs, to under the hutch, back to the tv stand. By the end of the night my grandma had named it "speedy" and wanted to keep it as a pet after I finally caught it! haha
