Hey guys! Can anyone check out this link and tell me what you think?

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QDB7znUshM0&feature=related

We are a family w/3 kids and no yard, ranging from 16months to 8years and we are looking for a family dog. Would be an indoor dog and part of the fam but we do live less the 1/2 mile from the park in the clip.

Wife and me love pits but are hesitant that b/c of the strength/power it would be the best choice for our not huge house and children, however this little guy looks very kid friendly.....the shelter says he also ADORES (caps) other dogs.....he's only 4 months but still looks like a small pit....maybe a mix?

I know you cant tell much from a short clip but Im just excited and wanted to share!

heres the craiglist ad for him as well with some additional info....

I wouldn't let the fact that he is pit/mix keep you from adopting him. If you like everything else about the puppy and are prepared for the energy level of a puppy I say go for it.
I agree with this. You just have to be prepared to train it and make sure he is supervised around the children, since he is a puppy he will still try to jump and nip at things. As long as you are willing to give him the love and care that he needs, he can be a great dog. Pits are very loving and sweet dogs when brought up in a caring home.

Can I give you a suggestion for a great book to read :) It is called :

Successful Dog Adoption By Sue Sternberg

Check your local library they may have it, this book is a valuable asset when adopting especally if you have children in the home.
