I rescued Bo not too long ago, but I need to know what y’all think of what breed she may be. I’m fairly new to the dog world and I want nothing but the best for my Bo. With that being said, id like to be able to learn how to best take care of her. I’m sure knowing something about her breed might help. Does she look like a Borador to you? Or a GSP mix of some sort? Best guess wins my appreciation lol (thx)

Thank you for the quick reply! The adoption agency said she was a GSP mix of some sort. I just didn’t see it. However, I definitely see lab and collie in her. I just want to be able to educate myself on health issues I need to be concerned about. I’ll definitely look into those DNA tests! Thanks again :)

Ilka was either a mutt or possibly a coated standard Xoloitzcuintle. I'm more inclined to believe mutt, but she did bear a striking resemblance to the coated Xolo I've seen. She was 22" and 48 pounds of pure athleticism. Could turn on a dime at a gallop and hand you nine cents change, and jump my 6' fence in pretty much one leap.

The (super cheap) "guess the breeds" DNA test I had done on her said she was mostly Bulldog and Italian Greyhound, with a dash each of American Staffordshire Terrier and Collie. I was going to do a Wisdom Panel test on her, since they test for Xolo, but I lost her before I could afford it.

The muzzle and tail look lab to me, with her coloring, ears, and alertness looking collie. But I wouldn't rule out some sort of greyhound either, given cut of her chest andhaunches. She's so cute!

I'm assuming she's full of energy! Has she shown any "OCD" type behavior (as us silly humans might mistake it for), by trying to keep people together in an area, or move all of your shoes or her toys to one spot, anything like that? Like collecting and sorting? How does she feel about the water? And would she rather play fetch or just keep running if allowed? A lot of times you can tell more about the underlying breeds by the behavior than just by the looks.
