Hi! I've had my Yorkie for a little over two weeks now and I noticed that one of her nipples looks different than the rest. It looked like an inverted nipple with a black spec in it. At first, I did not think too much about it until my sister in law decided to give it a little squeeze yesterday. This gooey, black gunk came out. It was like squeezing a blackhead out! I believe it might be dirt or some sort of debris. When we squeezed again, her nipple popped back out then eventually receded back in. My Yorkie didn't seem bothered by it at all. Should I be concerned? Right now, it doesn't look clogged like it did before and I make sure to clean it for her.
A little background on my Yorkie -- We took her in as a stray on March 23rd and she started her first known cycle on April 1st. I took her to the vet on March 29th for a check-up and vaccinations (curbside service). The vet didn't mention any health issues or anything of the sort. He says that she may be about 10 to 14 months old. Thanks in advance!
