Hello. My name is Kristina. I'm new here. I work as a veterinary technician in Connecticut. I love animals, dogs are my favorite. My fiance and I share a house with deaf rescue dogs. We recently adopted a purebred Australian Shepherd named Winter. She is only 8 weeks old and came from a breeder that was just going to euthanize the poor girl! They gave her to us for free, as she wasn't "profitable." She is almost all white, but has some blue merle on her back and blue eyes. She is the smartest dog we've ever known! She housetrained within a few days and knows to go to her crate on command. She knows the sign for "crate" and "outside". She is completely deaf. We also have a dog named Ghost, an American Pit Bull Terrier. He is only 11 months old. A friend of ours pulled him from the shelter because he was going to be euthanized. He is completely deaf. Our other dog is a 2 year old Australian Shepherd named Phelps. We adopted him from an Australian Shepherd rescue. He is deaf, red tri-colored, and has no tail. He is small, only around 35 pounds. Last, but not least, is Max (Phelp's brother). We adopted him from the same rescue. He looks very similar to Phelps. Max is a red merle Australian Shepherd with a natural bobtail.

Here is a pic of Max

Woops >.<

This is what happens when I crawl out of bed at 5:30 Sunday morning to play and run with Trent. And then not even get to drink my coffee because he was running nonstop between my legs.

I'll go slink back to my corner now
