My Abby (3.5 months) is doing much better in crate these days. I'd still like to make it more "fun" for her...

What are your/dogs' favorite "interactive" toys?

Just as a warning, check how strongly your pup chews... I made the mistake of getting Ruby (beagle mix) a couple of plush toys when she was about 10 weeks and they were shredded the first day. She is also working her way through the plastic toys I bought her, and the knotted rope looked more like a string ball after just a couple of days.

I am trying to find a treat ball that is hard enough that she will have to play with it, not just chew her way to the treat.

Thanks for the warning! With Abby it's really odd...she's a pretty tough chewer outside the crate when she's playing with us (and her toys). Inside the crate, however, she won't chew on anything but her bedding. Weird...

I am halfway through making Ruby a new toy. She loves ice cubes so I am making her a giant one with some treats frozen inside and one of her chew toys in the middle. I am freezing it in layers so there are things all the way through for her to find. Hope she likes it!
