Does anyone here have experience with an iliopsoas strain (not a tear)?

Would like to hear what you did to help your dog through to recovery and the age of your dog when diagnosed.

A friend of mine's dog had a bad strain. I want to say he was 8 or 9 when it happened? She worked with a rehab vet and also took this class (which is running in the June session). Fenzi Dog Sports Academy - CC280: Preventing and Addressing the Iliopsoas
