Pedro and Bonnie are adorable!

Since I'm so indecisive there are quite a few dogs I would take home right now if I could. I tried to narrow it down... I promise!

Basically a mix of herding breeds, bully breeds, and random scruffy mutts... so typical of me

I'm about at hoarder level LOL. I have 4 currently, but don't want to have this many in the future!

If I could have another dog, it'd be a retired show dog from a mini poodle breeder, anywhere from age 1-5. I've done enough puppies for now, and teething and housebreaking, etc etc. It'd be silver, and a boy or girl is fine.

In the future I will keep to 2 dogs at a time. Going to be a while though! My dogs are 13 yrs (will be 14 in a month), 8 (9 in a month), 5 and 2.

This dog.

Also I'm at 5 and really don't consider myself a hoarder :p

I am at my limit though and don't really intend to have 5 going forward. Four, maybe, three almost definitely, but not 5. It might, however, take a bit to 'get to where we want to be' since the young dogs are so close in age.

So if I went insane and thought I could handle a second dog.
Indy doesn't get on well with most dogs but has been awesome with all the greyhounds he's met and greyhounds are lower energy so I'd go with Nixsa here from we adopt greyhounds

I would absolutely not add another dog to my family at this point, but since we're playing pretend, I want this girl: http://nbran.org/searchdetails2.asp?ID=8587531

Or this boy: http://nbran.org/searchdetails2.asp?ID=4397892

Or this girl: http://nbran.org/searchdetails2.asp?ID=8789831

Or this girl, who looks like a cross between Rowan and Riff!: http://nbran.org/searchdetails2.asp?ID=8436512

I just want another Brittany. Especially a senior Brittany, although I wouldn't want 2 oldies (since Rowan is *technically* a senior even if he doesn't act it) at once.

Ooh, fun!

If I were able to bring home any dog at all right now (and not worry about the baby or the cat...or the husband) I'd absolutely bring home a retired Greyhound or adult Whippet. I think they're so elegant and graceful and still sweet and soulful. Or a really cute baby Shih Tzu to be my snuggle bug.

Sigh.

Piddleplace, no Mike doesn't need or care for more dogs in his house lol. And it's not up to me. But if it was, and Mike was okay with it, oh...

It's nice reading all your stories and look at pictures people!

I think 3 dogs would be my limit. The ideal would be a wetterhoun, a greyhound/galgo and an old senior from the shelter like Bonnie or Pedro...

Our local shelter has some really pretty shepherd mixes, several look similar to Freyja. That is probably a mess I don't need, Freyja and Lenore are more than enough sass for one house.

Honestly when it is time for me to add another dog it will most likely be a Beauceron or Dogo, I have pretty specific needs. Hubby will adopt whatever dog he wants. We will also never be at 5 dogs again. I love my dogs but it can be stressful and there are a lot of things that are just too hard to do because we have them all.
