They're both around 45lbs right now. Lily (brown) has webbed toes, loves to swim and is very protective and wary of strangers...she is 4 months old Gus (black) is very laid back and loves everyone....7 months old. Both are great family dogs and as you can see, they love each other VERY much. Any insight as to what breeds they are? Thanks!

The black and tan appears to be a Shepard X, the other a German Short haired Pointer X

Anyway, that's my opinion.

They're not related...They came from the same shelter though!

Lily is probably Shepherd/Hound/Lab/All American mutt, while Gus looks like either purebred or mix GSP. (German short-haired pointer)
There are DNA test kits available on line to determine what breed your dog is, if you're really curious. They're pricey, though, about $100 per test.
