A well- trained dog is a joy to have around .He is welcome almost anywhere because he behaves around people and other dogs. He doesn't neglect where he stays and obey when he is called. Owner always like taking him for a walk , trips and family outings. He is a member of the family in every sense of the word.

The most imperative benefit for your dog is your safety, the safety of the others and his own safety. Any dog that listens obey what he's told rarely get into dangers. A train dog is really a free dog.

Criteria of a well trained dog-
- Doesn't pull on the leash
- Doesn't bother guests
- Doesn't beg at the table
- Doesn't jump on people
- comes when called
You should learn to teach your dog exactly what you expect from him as a well - trained dog. Like:
- Sit when i tell you.
- Go some where and chill out.
- Lie down when i tell you and stay there.
- come when i called.

Sit and Down -stay commands are the building blocks for a well-trained dog.
Enjoy with your well- trained dog.

Well...according to your criteria, Lars isn't a well trained dog because he does jump on people...that he knows...to give kisses.
