So I've had Baby since 02/28/11. Just knowing her owner would be found, I only gave her a "tag name". ...Owner was never found and she STILL goes by her tag name, Baby. I've been meaning to come up with a new name for her but just never did. Well, today I've had it! Lol. "Baby" is just so, so blah-fully ordinary - "See Spot. See Spot run." So I'm now looking for a new name for her.

I figured I'd try to keep the "A" and the "Y" the same way as it is in "Baby", and I like the idea of having a "Z" in there. So the simplest name switch I can come up with is "Zaly" (Zay*lee) or "Azaly" (Uh*zay*lee). ...Spelling of name may be closer to spelling in pronunciation key, lol. I want something that's different/unusual but easy enough for Baby, ...and humans, to get used to.

Not yet completely sold on Zaly/Azaly though. So I was curious to your thoughts/opinions/suggestions? :)

I like the direction you're going... but personally I like Azalea better. Zaly would end up becoming a nickname at my house anyway for Azalea! ;)

(And if you're from where I'm from in Arkansas... that's a street name on the east side of town so people would know how to say it already!)

Not exactly what you're looking for, but close: how about Bailey?
Nah, I've heard Bailey a lot. I'm trying to think of something more unique. Thanks though!

Hmmm, caught my interest but with it being a street name already... kinda turns me off of it. Lol, sorry. Either way, I'll still keep that in mind as an option. I'm not familiar with that street though. ...However, I'm bad with street names anyway, ha! Not sure where you're from but if you're talking about Little Rock, I probably wouldn't know that street anyhow. I prefer not to drive around in town. So my places I go - I learn the way in and the way out, that's about it, lol.

LOL, that wouldn't work. Makes me think of rabies. Lol, I got the giggles from that now. Thank you for the compliment! :)

Btw, I looked up Azalea, Arkansas on my iphone map and it says that I'm nearly an hour away from there. (Curiosity kills me. ;) )
