im almost certain it was from her vaccine shot she got yesterday.
this is her second vaccine.

but i noticed her face is kinda bigger

so i know its an allergic reaction

but is this normal? will the swelling go down on its own? or should i go see the vet..

additional info: she still eats, and she plays a little

but she seems a little shyer? im guessing she didnt like the trip to the vet.

Vaccine reactions generally happen within minutes, or a couple of hours, not a day afterward. A swollen face is not normal.

It's probably just a mild allergic reaction and usually the dog will get better within a day or two on its own. As long as there isn't any signs of trouble breathing, you don't need to see the vet.

The reaction may be mild now, but it needs to be reported to the vet so that she can be monitored the next time she gets a vaccine.

When our dog got a golf ball sized bump on his neck/shoulder area after is vaccine the vet didn't charge us for coming in because it was their vaccine that caused it (even though we went in a week after the vaccine was given). Maybe your vet will do the same thing if you think it may have been the vaccine that caused the reaction.
