I think my dogs peeing because his mad

Hi. I have a 2 yr old english bull dog who I love and is a great dog. I work from home so im always with him during the day. The problem that I cant seem to fix is that when i go out late at night he pees his bed. I have tried crating him in the past' and making the crate small to were he can only lay down, but he dosent seem to mind sleeping in his pee. This only happens at nights, and i can leave him during the day alone for a long period and nothing will happen. This only happens late at night.

A dog will never pee out of spite or anger. Have you tried taking up water 1 hour before leaving and taking him outside at least 2-3 times before you leave? How long is he in the crate before he pees?
