Hi guys!

So yesterday, we finally tried giving her a chunk of ground chicken BUT she only smelled it and tasted just a little bit and ignored the rest of the meat. :(

Should I try giving her beef?

Thank you!

Some dogs who have never had raw food don't know what to do with it. You can try making it into a patty shape, and lightly searing the outside to make it more appealing. Or you could mix a bit in with her regular food to give her a taste of it.
Also, some dogs just won't eat raw if it's not introduced until they are older.

That's a good idea. I'm going to try the patty shape tomorrow. Let's see if it works out! She just turned 1-year-old last month by the way.

Hi
When George arrived with us at 18mths of age he had only had cheap smelly kibble and kitchen scraps so being given raw was so new he picked it up and dropped this strange flubbery cold thing straight away.. So we warmed it slightly so that the smell of the lamb hart was stronger and the meat was just slightly warm.. Then he tried it and once he had the first meal he was hooked.

What we did notice was in the beginning he couldnt manage bone the way Murphy did so we had to cut his into small chunks but as time has gone on he is fine devouring duck wings pheasant and lamb chops no problem.
