Idk what is going on with my dog. He keeps rubbing and dragging his butt on the carpet. He keeps trying to lick down there. And I was holding him one night. And his but leaked some clear liquid down my leg. Is there something wrong with his anal sac?

Sounds like he needs he anal scent glands expressed.

Some groomers will do this. I had a dog years ago that needed his expressed regularly (and I had never heard of anal scent glands before we got him.) The vet showed me how to do it. I did it once and then cheerfully paid the vet tech to do it going forward. I think they have a stainless steel room and hazmat suits for that purpose.

If ignored, you'll be treated to increasingly skunky smells and the possibility of inflamed/infected scent glands.

It sounds like a distinct possibility. It could just be that they need to be expressed, but as mentioned, it they aren't taken care of, they can become impacted and/or infected. My late Rat Terrier had to have his removed after recurring abscesses.

If he has really soft stool, then giving him something like plain canned pumpkin with his meals might help firm them up enough to where they express on their own when he has a bowel movement.

This is a question that needs to be addressed with your vet, not strangers on the internet.
