I live in a wooded area ... and two springs ago was the last time I was going to deal with that mess! My dogs never make it to the deep woods in the winter in the dark ... and my yard was a saturated nasty mess in the spring! .........
I bought a pooper scooper and found a 5 gallon bucket and started putting the poo in the bucket over the winter. It was much easier to scoop the poo as it happened ... put it in the bucket ... and in the spring ... have the yard decent.
It was the best $20 I ever invested for a yard cleaning tool! It has been almost two years and that tool is still in tip-top working condition!
