Kessel loves to just lay by your feet. She likes being petted but she seems to prefer just being by you rather than cuddled. A good thing since I expect her to be at least thirty pounds grown and could easily be bigger. Being she's a crossbred I'm just going with between thirty pounds and 100 pounds, more likely in the 30-50 range since she's not a huge puppy. I love that she wants to lay by me. Just talking about my puppy.

Who doesn't like talking about their puppy?
Winston is currently being a cuddly clinger right now, and wants me to hold him constantly... makes it difficult to type But at least he's only 18-ish pounds.

I take my computer on the veranda, sit in a comfy chair, and each dog lays by my side.

Or, a book in the hammock with the dogs under.

Both scenarios make me feel so loved.

I have a dog resting his head on my leg right now. I feel quite warm and fuzzy.

Bella is a foot dog. She's also a 50 pound lapdog. If you stand in one place for longer than a few minutes and the opportunity strikes - she will have taken over and claimed your feet in the name of Bella and she ALWAYS has to chew something on them. If you're sitting on the couch she's on your feet, dining room table? on your feet, standing watching tv for longer than 3 minutes - your feet have a new warmer, in the kitchen - guess what? on your feet.
