How do you feel about EVO food?

I am trying to decide if I should get this food for my mal. She needs to put on some weight. I was wondering also how much more cups should I feed her a night. Right now with TOTW it is about 3 cups and half can of wet.


She gets a ton of exercise. She gets at least 5 miles a day walking/bikejoring

If I am correct EVO is one of the companies that was just bought out by Proctor and Gamble which means the quality will probably suffer and it will then be sold at places like Walmart. There is info on here somewhere that talks about it. And with Diamond_makers of TOTW having so many recall issues lately,though none for TOTW yet people are reconsidering the food.

I am wondering if it has anything to do with Diamond and all their recalls in the last few days. TOTW wasn't mentioned but it is made by Diamond so who knows you should've asked.

I don't know but, I have been wanting to switch before the recall. My mal is really picky on TOTW.

Being from Fairbanks and knowing a few mushers if your dog is really active and burning through the calories you may want to check into Redpaw food and something they call Energy pak. There is a store in Fairbanks called Cold Spot www.coldspotfeeds.com and you could also check out sled dog central. I don't know much about the food but it is really popular within the Fairbanks mushing crowd.

I was feeding TOTW but have decided to take him off of it because of the Diamond recalls. I have to order it online because any stores near me didn't carry it, & I noticed that my usual online stores were all "out of stock" on almost all of the TOTW. A little too coincidental for me.

I've researched and decided to change to Earthborn, I've researched & have liked what I've seen. Just ordered a bag. Maybe you could check it out too.

I tried it last summer! She did amazing on Earthborn! She just was so picky and wouldn't eat it! She leave half the bowl there.
