The link to my latest blog post has been hijacked. This goes to show how desperate they are to keep the Atlanta expose quiet. It also tells me that we are making HUGE headway in taking the H$U$ down!

Please forward this email to everyone. Below is a copy of my original post, "How To Kill the 900LB HSUS Gorilla in 60 Seconds or Less"

In case you haven't heard, WSB-TV Atlanta aired a telling expose last week on the deceptively named Humane Society of the United States. Unfortunately, after only 24 hours of that airing, all mentions of that piece were removed from the station's website.

Whether the HSUS turned their lawyers loose on the station with threats is being speculated. The video made an appearance on YouTube garnering tens of thousands of hits before being removed due to "copyright" issues. Yeah, right. It was more than likely removed due to "bank account" infringement.

If the mighty HSUS is trying to do "damage control", they are doing a **** poor job of it. Wayne-O desperately tried to explain in his blog that the Hurricane Katrina money was used to help those animal victims ...What he FORGOT to mention is that not a dime in Katrina money was spent until AFTER the Louisiana Attorney General launched an 18 month investigation into just where that $34 million in donations went. So, the lying HSUS went in and donated a paltry sum to build a new animal shelter. Big fat hairy deal, Wayne. Unless that shelter cost $34 million, the HSUS has still got a LOT of 'complaining' to do!

The damage has been done. The truth was uncovered and now MILLIONS of United States donors (and would be donors) know of the HSUS deception in fund raising all in the name of "saving the animals".

So, how can we make sure that millions MORE people see that infamous video?? By cross-posting the following links to every email list, by sending it to your friends, neighbors, co-workers, AND LEGISLATORS! It turns out this video is alive and well on an Iranian (GO FIGURE!) video sharing site. (Many thanks to Walt on Pet-Law for providing these valuable links!)

The PetPac copy of the transcript of the broadcast, including the statement that PetPac has been told to take the transcript down:

A still smaller version (8 mega) in .MOV format. This is the quickest of all to view if you have only dial up service.

If YOU want to continue to be able to enjoy eating meat, owning pets, hunting, fishing, and to PROTECT your rights with regards to such activities, then it is imperative that the truth continues to be told and shared.

WSB is the first tv station with the intestinal fortitude to expose the deception at HSUS. The non-profit Center for Consumer Freedom has given a HUGE boost to the cause of protecting our rights as dog owners and breeders by helping to expose the hypocrisy. In addition to spreading this post far and wide, you can help with the next phase of the HSUS undoing by donating what you can to the CCF to help with the making of a HSUS documentary that WON'T be pulled and buried on the internet!

That's right, that little "disappearing video expose" was just the beginning...ain't life a bitch.

Wait what is this about please explain?
If you read the post it does explain pretty well. HSUS lied about what donations were being used for. A news station reported on it. HSUS had the footage removed.
oh thanks thats some f'ckd up stuff
what did the money go to?
That's the $34,000,000 question.
oh thanks thats some f'ckd up stuff
what did the money go to?
Politics, advertising, legislature.

I'm glad I got to see the video from the Atlanta news itself before it had to be taken down.
wow? im seriously shocked
can i see the video anywhere?

Again, if you actually read the post...
my bad i had my mind on something else:eek:
but i saw the video and  thats not right
The HSUS is a giant lobby organization, only a tiny amount of the millions they raise every year actually helps shelters or animals directly. The vast majority goes into their own salaries, advertising, and pushing various animal control legislation. They don't operate any sanctuaries or shelters. I think a lot of people don't know that.

It's a far better idea to donate money to your local shelters and sanctuaries, so that your community can actually benefit.
Thanks all for helping to KEEP THE TRUTH ALIVE!

My blog appears to be back to "normal" as of now. Please keep forwarding the information and the video links to everyone! This is truly a damaging expose on the deceptively named H$U$ and they know it.

This is the same issue the Red Cross was accused of after 9/11.

The Red Cross performed all the services as expected during and after the disaster, and also received a huge influx of donations during that period. They just didn't spend that money on 9/11 disaster relief. They were literally unable to spend that much money effectively.

It's an accounting issue, nothing more, but because of the outcry the RC had to change is practices to insure that the money received for a specific disaster is spent on that disaster, even though that make no real practical difference and causes much more waist.

So should we shut down the Red Cross?
I no longer donate to the "Red Double-Cross." Some of that money lost was MY money. I donate to other orgs instead. When I give somebody my hard-earned money, I expect NOTHING LESS than for it to be used the way THEY TOLD ME it was to be used. I don't care if they stay around or not, but I just know I will no longer donate to them, because I still feel betrayed.

Also, the HSUS thing has been ongoing if I'm not mistaken, and it's not just the money issues, but they are pushing some very dangerous bills.

Thanks Moon for posting this.

I also don't donate to the Red Cross, not even blood. They waste far more money than they ever give out to help. They have been proven time and again to funnel donations into the pockets of those who don't need it. I'd rather give my donations to organizations that use the fund properly and for the purpose they were given. If I donate blood, it's directly to the hospital or blood bank that needs it.
It's even hard for the general public who want to do the right thing with their charity donations.

Compare these two organizations profiles on Charity Navigator (website that collects and analyzes data about charities, trying to weed out the charlatans):

HSUS http://www.charitynavigator.org/index.cfm?bay=search.summary&orgid=3848 Four stars (highest rating) CEO makes $207,000/year

Champaign County Humane Society http://www.charitynavigator.org/index.cfm?bay=search.summary&orgid=5283 (I don't know anything about them; I just chose them from the list because they sounded typical) Two stars; Exec Dir makes $49,000

Would you give your money to the two-star or the four-star?

Not a suprise, lots of non-profit organizations are for profit.
Especially the big ones, HSUS isn't the only one.
