Had another small storm with a good bit of thunder but I did great...my momma said so and even gave me a "good puppy treat" for my efforts.

And here is how I relaxed after it was all over. It's tiresome being tough!

Awww. Both my dogs are ok with storms (whew). My other dog Jake, not so much - paced the house.
How cute! Do they make those in human size? I don't do so well during storms, but the dog does fine, lol!

I doubt that you pant, quiver until your eyeballs practically fall out and/or try to crawl into the closest human! But they do make them for very big dogs so you might try that...need the link...I can provide it for you...;)

lol, no... it's not that extreme... but I do pace the floor until it's over!

Poor thing! I'm not exactly sure what the concept of that jacket is all about, how does it calm a dog?
I'm happy to hear that Roxxy can now handle storms better with her new 'jacket'.

It is lovely on her. :D

She looks so sweet with her stuffie.
She wasn't totally calm but I am amazed at how much her "Wonder Woman Cape" really helps. It is still a bit much for her but nothing like before. But she DID get on Butch's pillow and take a much needed nap...;)

It works on the premise that some dogs react to the static a storm produces. The underside is a metallic cloth (which is supposed to deter the static). Not sure of the real mechanics of it but it was worth the $60 it cost me. No doggie downers in awhile and we are about to start the hurricane season. We'll see how it works then.

Attitude is everything... if you're wearing the cape and you think you're Wonder Woman..then you probably are!!! :D

Was this the first time you tried the cape? Hopefully she will better each time.
Reno, this is the second time with a storm...I'm keeping my fingers crossed...hope everyone here crosses theirs with me.
But of course my fingers are crossed. We Texans stick together... :D

Wow, thanks! You learn something new everyday! :)
Roxxy looks so cute in her Wonder Woman Cape...lol
Bigger storm today but I'm still doing ok. I'm panting more but my mommy is still very proud of me. I am able to lay at the end of the bed and not be all over her like I used to. They still scare me but maybe soon I won't be quite so terrified. I don't like being so scared...:(
Awww...your Roxxy is too sweet! Poor girl. It's so hard when they beside themselves and we are helpless to soothe them. I'm going to have to research this cape!
