My aunt has powerful, DA dog. Even at 160 pounds with a gental leader and an easy-walk harness, she gets pulled down if the dog wants to go get in a fight with the other dog. So, she got a basket muzzle to help prevent injuries to the other dog. Problem is, we can't figure out how it fits. Anyone have pics of a dog in them?

It looks like the company you ordered from specializes in muzzles. They've got a Contact Us section of their web site. I could offer a guess about how it fits, but that's just a guess.

We didn't order it online, we got it from a petstore and realized we had no idea how to make it fit.

I would say the longer buckle at the top would go behind the ears, to keep the dog from pulling it off.

I'm not a basket muzzle fan. If you have problems go to leerburg . com and check out leather muzzles that are used on protection dogs. They will be more expensive but I don't think there is any comparison.
