I have 2 border collie/ husky nine month pups that have in the past month or so started pissing on all the beds in the house. My wife and I are at a loss as to why they do this and have a hard time trying to catch them in the act to prevent it. any suggestions?

Look up the housetraining threads on here, lots of good info. More or less back to 'housebreaking boot camp' for both of them, they're not ready for unsupervised time yet.

Go back to potty training 101. Treat them like little pups with constant supervision and frequent potty outings with lots of praise for going in the right place. They've showed you they are not ready for as much freedom as you have been giving them.

If they're peeing all over the beds, they're not housetrained. Don't allow them near the beds and go back to basics with the housetraining. Use an enzymatic cleaner like Nature's Miracle remove the potty smell you can't detect, but they can.
