My lab has a hot spot on his ear. I keep putting stuff on it but my other dog will not stop licking and chewing it. Everytime it starts to heal he'll pull the scab off. Can someone suggest something I can put on it to help it heal yet have a unappealing taste for my other dog.

Good luck! Once they develop a hot spot they can be almost impossible to heal. My previous JRT got hot spots on her hips and they stayed there the last 3 years of her life. They would start to look better and then she would start licking and chewing again. I never did find anything that helped. I sure hope you have better luck with it than I did.

Separate the dogs until the hotspot heals up.
This is the only thing you can do.

Or muzzle the bad licking dog so he can't get his freakin' tounge out!
