Hi Everyone!

My gold retriever puppy is getting teeth now and he wants to chew everything that he sees. Due to lockdown, I am unable to purchase any dog chewing thing for him. I was willing to use my niece's chewing toys for him and this article recommends that we shouldn't use human kids' chewing items for puppies. That's why I am avoiding it.

So, my question is that did you guys ever make a chewing bone for puppies' teething at home? Or is there any DIY idea to make any chewing item for my little one? Actually, I made an online order for chewing bone from an online store but due to lockdown, I didn't get my parcel. All in all, I want a soft and dog-friendly chewing bone for my dog. Please share your ideas.

Who did you order from? I really like Pet Food, Products, Supplies at Low Prices - Free Shipping | Chewy.com They have a lot of choices, good prices, and absolutely awesome customer service. I get just about all my pet supplies through them these days. They use FedEx for delivery, and everything arrived just fine.

You really need more than just one chew. Nylabones, hard rubber type toys, and things like bully sticks are all good for teething puppies.

In a pinch, you could probably tie a couple of knots in a hand towel, and let them chew on that with supervision.

Thanks Leo for sharing this. Now, I am not only going to order chewing toy but will also order for other stuff (as you suggested Nylabones etc) for my little one as I saw shipping is free above $49. Bully sticks are amazing here. Hopefully, they will deliver on time.

Since they are extra busy right now, it might take a few days longer than usual, and it might come in more than one package from different warehouses, but as long as it's in stock, they will get it out as fast as they can.

I been using Chewy for three? years now, and have been very happy with them. I have an auto-ship set up for my cat, dog, and bird food, and add other things like treats and litter as needed.
