We recently got a 2 months old border collie named Inky, and he's been with us & now he is almost 3 months. We have noticed that Inky's hind legs seem to be a bit weak, that he bunny hops a lot when he moves. Comparing with my older dog, he barely jumps & likes to lay down a lot. And he doesn't sit straight(always with his hind legs pointing out in a bit weird angle). He also doesn't seem like to be running a lot even he is able to run a bit sometimes(when he is really excited).
Is it normal for 2-3 months old puppies(10 weeks) to have weak hind legs? We are worried that these might be early signs of hip dysplasia...
We plan to take him to the vet next week but I've been very anxious about it...
