I am new to the group... I had a German Shepard mix with husky and we had to move so I gave it to my friend she promised to take care of her.. she sent a pic of the dog and she was so small and you can see her ribs.. I was so upset and so was my hubby.... we plan on getting her back but I am afraid for her health what should I do?

It really sucks when you trust someone with an animal, and they turn out to not be worthy of that trust.

The first thing you need to do when you get our dog back is to take her to the vet for a thorough check up, and address any medical issues going on (parasites, metabolic diseases, etc.), and then work with your vet on a plan to start feeding her a good quality food spread throughout the day. A really malnourished dog might need five or six very small meals.

To address your other thread, German Shepherd Dog x Siberian Husky isn't a very rare cross, but they do tend to be very pretty dogs. .

Hi! I'm also new on the forum;) I have a one-year-old German Shepherd, her name is Witch and her name perfectly reflects her character;) Like every witch, my life is also not easy. It started when she was pulled out of the basement as a 2-month-old baby. Unfortunately, the stigma of the basement was reflected on her paws. Apart from the fact that it's a bit hard, I wouldn't give it to anyone for any treasures!
