Hi! I have two rescue dogs, a shih tzu and a beagle. The shih tzu I adopted almost a year ago, and the beagle I've had since I was six (she was originally a family dog, but she went off to college with me).

I'm mostly looking for help with my shih tzu—he's a great dog most of the time, but he does have a few behavioral issues I'd like to correct before they escalate.

Welcome! How old is the beagle? She must be getting to be an old lady.

Thanks! She'll be fourteen pretty soon, but she isn't showing her age much yet. She has to be carried up and down the stairs to my apartment and she's on joint supplements, but otherwise she's about the same as she's always been.
