I got her from a shelter a few months ago. She is about 6 months old right now. I know she is part red heeler...what do you think the other part is?

She looks like she has shepherd and/or lab in her. I'm not seeing any heeler, maybe it's just me.

The ears look really Heeler to me... I might be imagining things, but her colouring really reminds me of a Corgi.

I was also gonna say Shepherd, but virtually every large mutt resembles a Shepherd in some way.

The strong, broad head makes me immediately think of the Staffordshire Terrier..

Whatever she is, she looks sweet.


You might want to look into those DNA tests that they offer now, that can figure out what the breed mix is. I heard it costs some money, but worth it. I met a man on another forum who had a shar-pei mix and was asking what we thought the other breed is.. Everyone was dead set on a lab or a great dane...and it came back that he was mixed with weimaraner.. We all were shocked and it was fun to learn.

I think a bigger thing to question is the age... doesn't looke like a 6 month old pup to me.
