Hi Everyone, This forum has been helpful already. I have a dog that will likely be diagnosed with IBD when we go to the specialist again next week. He is 2 1/2 yrs old now and has never had "normal" poop (sorry...with IBD it's all about poop). I am at my wit's end & praying for a treatment regimen that he will eat, he will gain weight on and he will not have "poop issues" or gas pain or other problems. :flypig:

Good luck at the vets. I know what a life that is all about poop feels like. To this day, 4 years after we figured out how to treat her, we still have daily discussions about poop. "Did she poop? How was it? Firm? Color?" Oy. We never had her biopsied because of her extreme nervousness at the vet, but the vet started treating for IBD with z/d and daily Tylan. She still gets an occasional upset stomach, but nothing like she used to get, thank goodness.

Let us know how it goes.
