Hey all,

We are first time dog owners. We have always wanted a dog but we wanted to wait till he had a house with a nice yard.

Well after 12 years and three wonderful children (ages 5,3,and 16 months) we finally bought a house on a nice lot. We started looking at shelters, breeders, and want ads. After looking for a few months we decided we wanted to go with a rescue agency. We found this beautiful pup fro MS, who was, along with his litter mates, abandoned behind a church when he was roughly 10 weeks. well long story short we fell in love with him and we adopted him, he then took a lovely ride from MS to ME.

We are now very proud owners of Fezzik, a Lab/Shepard mix. he is 14 weeks old, extremely healthy, and full of puppy energy!!! He is doing awesome with crate training, and basic commands.

I am looking forward with learning as much as possible to give my pup a wonderful life.

Oh its no wonder you fell for him. He is such a handsome boy. How are your kids and the puppy doing together? I bet their in love.

I have to say he has been a dream dog. He is doing awesome with his training!

the kids love him very much, especially my youngest son (16 months old). he cuddles up with the pup, pets him so affectionality.

Fezzik follows us around the house, lays at our feet in the evening while we watch tv.

At our 2 AM pee break...Fezzik comes out of his crate, walks to the door and sits. I put the collar on him and head outside. When we come inside, he sits patiently while I take the leash off, without saying anything he goes back into his crate and lays down. Makes the midnight daze easier to deal with.

Our walks are so much fun. The wifey or myself walks him in the morning, and the Family (if the weather cooperates) walks him in the afternoon. On the weekends we all head down to the local state park and have a play day there! he is in heaven there, so much to smell!!!

Overall the whole experience has been so rewarding!!! We could have asked for a better pup!

Just had to say I love the name. And he's a real good looking dog with some interesting coloring especially on his legs. Good luck look forward to seeing pics as he grows up.

Yes, luckily his litter mates were rescued too. They seem to be doing quite well too.
