All of mine follow me everywhere all the time. If I go nap and close a door, they sleep outside my door. Even if my husband is in the living room with them. They always want to be almost touching me.
If I leave, they sleep peacefully in their crates, so I don't consider their clingyness to be a problem. I don't remember the last time that I slept a night without a dog on top of me. I have 3 total velcro dogs. As long as they aren't stressed or neurotic, I don't worry about it. Every dog I have ever owned has been this way.
