I adopted two dogs from the pound two days ago and I'm not really sure what they are. The pound told us pomeranian/shih-tzu mix but they obviously aren't. The pound estimated that they were born on April 17 and Buster (darker one) weighs 5.6lbs and Bailey (lighter one) weighs 5.8lbs.

Oh my gosh your dog is so cute!! Good job for rescuing them and welcome to the forum. Bailey looks like a Pom/Chihuahua mix and Buster looks like a Pom mix. Not sure with what.

Bailey looks like my friend's (confirmed) pom/JRT/sheltie mix... And I see the pom mixed into Buster, just dunno with what.

Pomeranians throw the sable coloring just like GSDs... These pups are way beyond too tiny for GSD.

They definitely are. 100mph all the time. They love playing with my Dane/Black Lab mix
