ok my foster dog 1 and a half year old black lab was neutered 2 days ago. he has stitches and i want to know can i bring him for a swim in the sea. hes full of energy and loves water. hes running laps of the house and i need to get him out

NO! Keep his stitches dry for two weeks or more at least or they could come out and he will open up and/or get infection ..... serious stuff. I did not bathe my dog for a month.

He should also be kept as calm as you can keep him .... I understand how that is though ... Eddee gave me a very hard time running about and acting crazy and doing things he shouldn't after his neuter ... but he did survive thankfully with no problems. He did however keep his stitches dry. :)

He doesn't need to be running laps around your house, either. Keep him on a leash in the house (and outside) or crate him until the stitches come out. He needs to remain fairly still, or he could rip them out, or they could become infected.
