I just took my 11 week old Boston terrier out to go to the bathroom before putting him in his crate for the night and I noticed his right eye was shut, he would open it every couple seconds but only between 50% and 75%. The eye does look a little red, but he seems to be in a good mood as I'm writing this he is playing around with his favorite toy.

He is scheduled to go to the vet on Monday at 11am for his follow up from his purchase exam.

Can we wait till Monday or do I need to take him to an emergency vet?
Please help!!!!

ER vet. Eye problems can escalate in a very short time. Cute puppy!

I agree ER VET !!! I made the mistake of waiting when a dog I had showed signs of an eye injury, less than 48 hours later when I did take him in I found that the cat had scratched his eye and damaged his cornea and it was badly infected. I spent over 2000.00 on vet bills and it took over 2 months to heal. With some issues it is better safe than sorry !!
