Help identify insect? Fleas?

I have no idea what that is, but if I were you I would send a picture to a vet so they could tell you for sure if it's just a bug that fell on your dog or an actual parasite that you need to treat.

I’m gonna do that. We currently have a 4 day national vacation, everything is closed.

Any update yet?

None yet, last day of holidays everything re-opens tomorrow will try to get a vet appointment immediately.

Meanwhile, I’ll try to use flea shampoo (instead of flea spray)

Asked vet so it’s not a flea or a common dog insect.

He might be picking them up from the grass outdoors.

I did get a flea shampoo and bathed him.. so far 2 days not finding any insects.

Reaching out to our pest control company to show them the insect photo and identify what it is
