Baby puppies do spend a lot of time sleeping, kind of like human babies. But if you're worried he's lethargic, I'd give the vet a call and explain his behavior. They'll be able to advise whether this is related to his illness/treatment or if they feel it's abnormal enough to warrant another vet check.
