Hello From Wordsdog

Hello, everyone. :wave: I've lived with cats my entire life. However, after volunteering at my local shelter, I've fallen in love with dogs over the last year. When I move into a new apartment in the next few months, I'll be adopting my first dog.

I'm seeking help from dog owners due to the fact that I am disabled. I can use a walker inside my home, but I have to use a wheelchair in the community. Despite my mobility limitations, I work full time and am still quite active because I am only 20 years old. I would like any tips or advice as to what type of dog I should look for and how to incorporate a dog into my daily life. I've been learning a lot about dog training and veterinary care from books, but I would like to learn more from dog owners. I would appreciate any replies.
