Hello all, this is just a short post to explain about my decision with joining this forum. We currently have a 1 year old entire
Came Corso male. He weighs over 75 kilos but we have recently brought a new puppy. She is a Schnoodle and will be arriving next Sataurday! Everyone is very excited for the new arrival but we have a few questions that we hope these lovely people can answer.
1) How best to introduce a 9-week old schnoodle to a Cane Corso?
2) Will He try to mount the puppy?
3) Should we introduce them both a few weeks after she arrives
Thank you all! ☺

Set up baby gates and let them get to know each other through a controlled situation. Some adult dogs are not welcoming of a puppy and controlling the situation through gates and being there will prevent disaster. I would let the puppy settle in before letting the two together. Give it a week and see how it goes through gates and fences (do NOT put either dog on a leash!).

If the older dog acts aggressive I would keep the two separated forever. Not all dogs like other dogs.
