Hey there everyone! I am new. I go by Wa, I just recently got a German Shepherd puppy. She is adorable but all she does is sleep.
Does anyone know how long it will take for her to learn her name?

Hey there and welcome to the forum! Congrats on the new puppy How old is she? Puppies need a lot of sleep, half the time they're sleeping. As she gets older she'll have more energy, before you know it she'll be a nonstop ball of fur, lol. It could take a few weeks for her to learn her name, could take a couple months. It really depends on the dog.

How old is she? Generally beyond 12 weeks they start to pick up their name. I have just been recently learning how to train them to respond to their name. Best thing is to call them while they are doing something if they look at you praise them and give them a treat

She is approx. 9weeks now and is becoming more energetic as the day goes by. Thank you for the advice.

Thank you for the advice. My puppy still hasn't learned her name but she can sit, lay and bark. =)
