Hi everyone! :wave: I'm Lisa, a 25 year old recent law school grad. I just recently adopted my lil nugget Henry from a local domestic shelter. He was abandoned by his family, and was quite the mess when I first met him. He is adjusting well to his new home and looks (and acts) like a whole different dog. He is an excellent study buddy (and a huge stress reliever) as I am preparing to sit for the upcoming July bar exam. :ballchain:
Henry is my first fur baby as a "grown up." My family had a beagle when I was growing up, so I'm not completely clueless. But since this is my first time having a dog all on my own, if anyone has any tips or tricks or general advice for a new mama, please feel free to share!

Thank you for rescuing! .... The little guy is adorable! He really does look Shih Tzu like I was guessing in the other thread.
