I have been lurking this forum for a while and I have to give props to the community. Your stickys and posts have helped me a lot in training and raising my puppy properly. Unfortunately, there are too many sources for "educating" the general public on dog behavior that rely too heavily on dominance theory which I sadly trusted for a while *cough*Cesar Milan/Brad Pattison*cough*. But the moment I got the puppy, I quickly started to realize that well their techniques didn't really work, weren't fun and that the explanations that used are always loosely tied back to their dominance principals without concrete reasoning. Luckily that phase did not last long and online forums like yours can make difference in sharing informative perspectives to dog owners. :clap2:

And so after all that blabber and thanks, here is Simon the Australian Shepherd. He is now almost 7 months old, has started in agility foundations and is learning every day more and more obedience and heelwork dance tricks. It never ceases to amaze me what an intelligent guy he is.
