I'm on triflex I believe I spelled it correct.. well my boy is lol but I switch to raw recently and just making sure that's cool if I keep this up? Or should I switch to something else? I'm trying to find something...thanks guys. He's 63 pounds.

Yeah I don't see the logic in that... I'm using Iverhart and Pet Armor. Generic Heart Guard and Frontline respectively.

You only need to give heartworm meds if the temperature remains above 57* F. If it drops below, one dose of Ivermectin (aka Heart Guard) takes care of any infection in your dog for the previous 3 months. Do your own research, but this blog post sums it all up nicely:

Black walnut and wormwood hav been used to successfully treat Heartworm naturally. Try googling natural Heartworm treatments. You'll see black walnut is very common and a good base. Wormwood is good to add to help make it stronger if needed and then some give COq10 too.
