hard breathing in sleep

Kk well he's a English bulldog/ with Austrlian shepard.. he's 1 1/2 old when he sleep near the dog he always breathe hard but is he just not that deep sleep? And waiting me? I know 100% he doesn't do this when he calm and doesn't know I'm here he's a outside dog:(((( I know I know dads rules.. but soon a inside dog when I move out.. should I check this out or no? Vet wise I mean cash is low its 2012 lol.. he's also breathe nice and easy when I go near him and massage his muscular thigh:p

Dogs will breathe heavy or even snore when they sleep. During deep sleep, they will sometimes breathe really fast, if they are having a dream. If he seems normal when awake, I wouldn't worry about it.
Fenway does that and as long he doesnt have trouble breathing its fine.
