I have a puppy who has just turn 1 month old you have no idea how amazing it is to say that. He is the most amazing little creature. :)

About 10 years ago my oldest daughter had a golden retriever who had 11 puppies. WHen they were just over 2 weeks old the momma dog , Honey, had an infected mamory gland rupture and could no longer care for the puppies so they started to hand raise them. WHen they were about 3 weeks old my daughter had her wedding at my house in my yard. She lived about 4 hours away from me and we had a ton of family fly up for the wedding and were staying at my house . SHe started to hand out puppies to guests to feed . It was soo funny at the wedding to see several guests sitting there with "thier" puppy and 2 guests decided to adopt thier puppy when they were old enough .

Well sadly his mum rejected him at birth, there were 2 he did have a sister but the mother sadly killed her. We have our little boy now, has been a rocky road but i never gave up.

So She had 2 puppies and from the start she had rejected them, we've been hand raising the little guy for about a week and a half, but we wanted to try and introduce him to his mum. At first she didn't want to she was more aggressive towards him, but i just bit the bullet and put him with her, with my hand protecting his body while he suckled. It was for about 10 minutes at the start and each time would get longer and longer until i felt confident in him being left with her, supervised of course. She now adores him and always wants to be with him. We've had issues with him pooping but its all good now. He's running round playing with his mum eating all on his own its just so great especially due to the beginning of his life no one thought he'd make it, i knew he would. He's my little angel. :)

That's such a great story odiesmom :) really beautiful.
