In a corner of our family room, we have two perpendicular windows that overlook the entire backyard. Generations of dogs (a runt dachshund, a beagle, a miniature dachshund, a miniature schnauzer, and now Franklin) have used these windows to survey their domain (and watch for squirrels, rabbits and other invaders.) I finally made a very stable platform to replace the pile of cushions that previously served. Franklin now knows for sure he is King of his domain.
