Willow, d.o.b. 5-12-20, not much interested in food and has reoccoring diarrhea.
Active, playful.... could it simply be the heat? Our little air conditioner tries, but when it hits triple digits, it can only do so much.
I KNOW I should stick with a diet and "she'll eat when she's hungry", but I cave and try different things. She eats some, but not nearly enough for a growing pup.
Has a vet visit on Friday for 3rd shots and fecal.
Should I be concerned if she is acting fine otherwise?
I'm dealing with another dog who has been off food for some time, with no reason we can figure out, after $1000+ in vet visits, so this is HIGHLY stressful for me.
In case you are interested, I feed grain free foods... prefer to avoid kibble, but have fed that as well.

Before making a bunch of changes, I'd ask the vet whether the dog actually is currently underfed. Most people overestimate how much food a dog actually needs. If the dog is growing normally and is in good condition then you may be worrying unnecessarily.
